We are seeking to appoint a Senior Consultant (Director level) based in Germany, responsible for the strategy, development and work winning into the German and European Clean Energy and Transmission & Distribution sector. The role is focused on the extensive opportunity that Turner & Townsend are responding to in the German, Europe and Global markets for Clean Energy and Transmission & Distribution.

Key aspect of the role is to support the European business in Strategy and conversion of Major Projects and Programmes. This will include positioning and leading teams for major bids/Frameworks in the Transmission and Distribution sector, primarily focused on Germany and North-West Europe.

- Being visible and leading by example, inspiring others to always give their best, and valuing and nurturing the diverse skills and perspectives around you.
- Ability to access and influence key decision makers within clients, regulatory bodies, and government.
- Fluency in German language is required

**Knowledge**
- Experience and credibility in the electricity sector with an existing and current knowledge of Transmission & Distribution and Renewables.
- Experience in other energy transition sectors such as Hydrogen and/or CCUS is preferable.
- You will have established relationships with, both national and international clients and understand the requirements for strategy, set-up and delivery of capital programs.
- This will include experience of working for or with major TSO’s across Europe, preferably in Germany
- Experience of working with power generation and energy businesses will also be considered.
- Applicants who have worked for consulting businesses into these clients and markets will also be considered.
- Your track record will have seen you leading teams and providing advice on complex projects across the electricity sector.
- Ideally you will have experience across Project Management, PMO, capital delivery or major programs.
- Technical understanding of Project Management, Commercial Management and Project Controls.
- Technical background in engineering
- Capable of positioning and winning major program bids and developing opportunities in accordance with the business plan.

**Qualifications**
- Qualified to degree level within construction and / or engineering.
