What you’ll do & Who you are
We are looking for an experienced and visionary Head of Product (d/f/m) - Real Estate to lead the product direction of one of the most strategic verticals at Kleinanzeigen. Real Estate is a key category within our classifieds ecosystem, offering huge potential for innovation and user impact.
Your Mission
As Head of Product for Real Estate, you will drive the product strategy and execution for this vertical, shaping a seamless and trusted experience for users searching for or offering property. You will be responsible for defining the vision, identifying opportunities, and delivering features that connect buyers, renters, and sellers in meaningful ways.
You will lead a team of 3-4 product managers, working closely within a cross-functional leadership team composed of engineering, UX, business operations, and analytics stakeholders. Together, you will continuously evolve the Real Estate experience, balancing user needs, market trends, and business goals.
Key Responsibilities- Product Leadership: Define and own the Real Estate product strategy and roadmap. Translate market and user insights into innovative, high-impact solutions.- Team Management: Lead, mentor, and grow a team of product managers. Foster a culture of empowerment, clarity, and customer obsession.- Cross-functional Collaboration: Be a driving force in the Real Estate leadership team, collaborating across UX, tech, business, and analytics to ensure strong delivery and cohesion.- Stakeholder Alignment: Maintain ongoing alignment with senior leadership, sales, marketing, and other internal and external partners to deliver on strategic goals.- Customer Centricity: Champion deep customer understanding through research, data, and direct engagement. Drive the development of user-first solutions for renters, buyers, and property providers.- OKRs & Execution: Set clear OKRs and metrics for your team. Prioritize work across discovery and delivery, ensuring strategic focus and executional excellence.- Marketplace Impact: Evolve and enhance our real estate marketplace to ensure liquidity, trust, and engagement - from onboarding to transaction.
Qualifications- Proven experience in leading digital product teams in a complex, high-scale environment- Demonstrated success managing people and developing product talent- Strong background in agile product development and cross-functional leadership- Experience with marketplace, classifieds, or real estate-related products is a plus- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and strategic thinking skills- Strong analytical capabilities and data-driven decision making- Ability to balance short-term delivery with long-term strategic goals- Fluent in English; German proficiency is a plus
