This is a key position whereby you will use your exceptional soft skills to harmonise a bridge between commercial teams and technical enhancements. The role requires a strategic thinker who has experience in relationship management and who knows how to identify and explore opportunities for service and business improvement.

Working with a small, fun and supportive European based team your role will involve generating excitement for new products or processes by keeping your customers updated on their progress and facilitating training/demo’s where required. Keeping your customers happy is at the heart of this role in which you will be greatly supported. Wearing multiple hats and juggling project co-ordination will be your speciality, alongside supporting around 500 internal employees.

On behalf of our Client we are currently recruiting for an IT Business Partner (IT skills not required). This exciting opportunity has arisen to join a global manufacturer as Business Partner to cover the Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Central & Eastern European regions - based in their Germany facility in Frankfurt.

You will join and strengthen a team of existing Business Partners in an IT department that is truly pan-European.

Your overall responsibilities will consist of managing the relationship between the sales offices and the IT department, being a single point of contact for the IT services delivered.

Day to day duties and responsibilities will be varied and include relationship, demand and change management, as well as business engagement and analysis.

**Main Tasks**
- As the Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Central & Eastern European Business Partner, you will be the single point of contact for IT service delivery within these regions.
- You will be responsible for representing the IT team and will build and maintain a close relationship with local management and users. Through regular engagement and by measuring SLAs and service quality this role will capture, shape and align demand, as well as highlighting areas for improvement to both business units and IT delivery teams alike.
- The role will require you to identify and facilitate areas for training to increase the digital skills of users, including delivery of training where appropriate - to improve efficiency of super users and organise events to raise awareness on key IT topics.
- As required, the Business Partner will support large European IT projects and initiatives by capturing local requirements and needs, manage local rollouts via change management and communication to ensure successful adoption in the offices of responsibility.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum German speaker with English as a second language, additional spoken languages an advantage.
- Business acumen, and the ability to communicate to executives, business domain stakeholders and technical staff alike - across multiple countries and cultures.
- Strategic thinking - you can take an overall perspective on business issues, events, activities and can see their wider implications and long-term impact.
- Experience in relationship management - you can identify, analyse, manage and monitor relationships with key stakeholders.
- Experience in change management - you are familiar with change management processes, tools and techniques. Ability to project co-ordinate as necessary.
- Although you are not a Business Analyst, you will have a good understanding of business analysis methodologies, tools and techniques (IT operations) or experience as a Business Analyst.
- Ability to analyse project, program and portfolio needs, as well as determine the resources needed to achieve objectives and overcome cross-functional barriers.
- Continuous improvement mentality - you know how to identify and explore opportunities for service and business improvement.
- Business domain, data/content and process understanding (which are more important than technical skills).
- Demonstrated influence, communication, presentation and facilitation skills. Ability and confidence to conduct training to large multi-cultural audiences.
