**Responsibilities**:
The HR Business Partner for our Division Optic will:

- Support the management with the appropriate solution of employee relations issues and procedures for interviewing, hiring, terminations, promotions, performance reviews.
- Be point of contact for any employee related topic and in dealing with the Works Council.
- Drive and support performance management & development processes throughout the organization.
- Design, implement and maintain an effective talent assessment and succession plan, including management development and employee career path programs.
- Maintain open communications with all levels of executives to assess the needs of their departments / divisions and help them accomplish business objectives by recommending human resources solutions and measures.

Qualifications:

- BA/BS required; Graduate degree preferred. Must be fluent in English & German.
- Broad exposure to all Human Resources functions, including recruiting, employee retention, workforce planning, organization development, compensation, benefits, HRIS and administration.
- Depth of works council experience. And strong knowledge of HR policies and practices.
- High level of personal integrity, initiative, and strong interpersonal skills.
- Able to establish a constructive and informative relationship with employees, management and executives.
- Strong strategic development, planning and analytical ability.
- Excellent attention to detail and hands-on mentality
