We are currently recruiting for a **KYC Maker** for our **Japanese Corporate Banking Division**in **Düsseldorf**.

The MBE subsidiary based in The Netherlands is a network of branches (Germany Branch (Dusseldorf, Hamburg, Frankfurt, Munich), Spain Branch (Madrid, Barcelona), Belgium Branch (Brussels), Austria Branch (Vienna)), managed from Amsterdam.

**Overall Purpose of the Job**
- Subject matter expert (SME) for KYC (Know Your Customer)
- Intended to conduct KYC activities
- Partly supporting daily banking business for Japanese corporate clients

**Your impact at MUFG**
- Collection of required documents/information for KYC reviews
- Check on accuracy for KYC reviews
- Analysis of data/information for KYC reviews
- Performing customer screening
- Performing customer assessment
- Recording data/information for KYC reviews
- Contacting customers and other relevant parties in order to finalize KYC review
- Performing sanctions due diligence
- Due date management of KYC reviews
- Other various responses those are necessary for business promotion with customers and administrations

**In order to be successful in the role, you will need the following**:

- Preferred is an apprenticeship as a bank clerk or other commercial area, if combined with relevant work experience in a bank
- Business fluent in German and English language, Japanese language skills on every level would be a plus
- Software skills (Excel and Word)
- Negotiation skills with customers (related to loan conditions, deposits, etc.)
- Customer orientation
