The results will be utilized by a top US Tech company in the development of their QA environment, strongly impacting the (very high) quality of their products - consumer electronics devices sold in multi-million units globally.

You'll be dealing directly with various customer stakeholders in an agile environment. The customer is looking for a strong hands-on, proactive and pragmatic approach, combined with strong communication and leadership skills.

**Requirements**:

- PhD in Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science or similar
- Excellent proficiency of C++ including latest standards C++17 and above, as well as experience with Python.
- Ability to analyze & understand issues and bottlenecks in software and proactively find and suggest technical solutions as well as improvements
- Customer facing abilities and strong communication
- Applied knowledge of multithreading and GPU programming
- Strong analytical, mathematical skills & problem solving skills
- Existing & Valid VISA and work permit in Germany, or resident of EU country

Nice-to-have:

- Hands-on Matlab experience
- Experience with embedded systems
- Objective-C knowledge
- Familiarity with Sensors
- Familarity with Machine Learning
- Familiarity with software development for Linux and / or MacOS

Experience in those fields will be a strong plus:

- Industry Automation
- Robotics
- Optical systems
- ADAS
