Our vision is to save critical resources and create a better planet for future generations through a sustainable circular economy. **Job Summary** **unior Controller with focus on Customer profitability analysis and Anaplan implementation - Pflichtpraktikum - 6 months / 1 year contract** The Junior Controller position is in the Controlling Department of a strategic division in Reconomy. The Junior Controller will be involved in multiple areas giving her/him the opportunity to learn & contribute to key Controlling activities of an international global player. She/he will be a fully empowered member of the team with regards to business reporting, variance analysis, forecasting, as well as project activities. The Junior Controller will be given the opportunity to present results of activities assigned to senior management. This is an excellent opportunity to gain working experience in a global environment, matrix structures, covering different FP&A processes across the Comply Division in Reconomy. **The Role Description for you**: - Work closely with Group Accounting / Controlling on the Anaplan implementation project - Perform ongoing checks / analysis on the customer gross margin to select outliers and review with Sr. Controller and Operations - Prepare analytics to explain variances (versus prior year & plan) using Anaplan / Lucanet, highlight high value PL variances for Comply for a review with Sr. Controller / Head of Controlling - Participate in the planning process together with Controlling team - Assist in a variety of analytics, reporting activities, regular task, ad hoc requests and simplification projects and business intelligence improvements by partnering with the Controlling team and IT **What you should bring**: - Graduate/or about to graduate/ in a major of Finance, Accounting or Business Administration with a focus in Finance and Accounting (Pflichtpraktikum) - About 1 year of working experience / internship in FPA or Controlling is preferable - Good command of fundamental finance & accounting concepts - Can do attitude, self-starter with strong intellectual curiosity, hands-on mentality - Strong analytical & problem-solving skills - Ability to explain and articulate analysis and observations - Process driven thinking & passion for simplification - Ability to deliver on strict timelines - Good command of MS Excel; knowledge of Anaplan / Lucanet is a plus - Prior experience with Power BI is a plus - Very good command of English - German work permit We offer you a future-proof job in our constantly growing company, where you can make an active contribution to the sustainable use of resources and direct environmental protection for a better common future, true to our maxim "Return to Value".
