**Your role**:
We are looking for a Trade Compliance Specialist who will report to the Head of Product Compliance.

In the event of legal changes (national, European, etc.) you assess how far our products are affected and therefore create and maintain the new required product classification data in all corresponding SAP systems.

By regularly checking the correctness and currency of our product data in the import/export area, you ensure that the product data is always legally up to date.

You are the key contact person for questions about EU legislation and customs tariffs and provide support by questions about system maintenance (SAP/GTS). You are also the point of contact for customers with product-specific questions about import and export restrictions.

**Who you are**:

- Chemist, Biochemist, Pharmacist, Laboratory Assistant,...
- Knowledge of German and European legislation regarding chemicals, biological substances and laboratory equipment (not mandatory)
- Knowledge of customs tariffs (not mandatory)
- Knowledge of SAP/GTS, MS Office, ideally Excel, Access
- Business fluent English and German, excellent communication skills, solution-oriented way of thinking, high degree of flexibility, excellent team-player
