As a Business Controller for Logistics in our distribution center in Hamburg-Allermoehe, you will bring your own ideas to constantly improve the way we work, find the best solutions, and encourage innovative thinking on how to better serve our customers. As part of the local logistics team, you will support us in reaching our strategic as well as operational goals, while strengthening cross-functional and cross-team collaboration. ABOUT THE JOB As a Business Controller for Logistics in our distribution center, you will bring your own ideas to constantly improve the way we work, find the best solutions, and encourage innovative thinking on how to better serve our customers. As part of the local logistics team, you will support us in reaching our strategic as well as operational goals while strengthening cross-functional and cross-team collaboration. You will make a lasting impact with your unique controlling skills, your future-focused and flexible omni mindset, and your clear way of communication. **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE**: As a Controller you will ensure efficient processes of financial controlling, i.e., budgeting, forecasting, financial follow ups. Through proactive operational controlling, you will constantly improve performance while driving operational tasks in alignment with the developing needs of the regional team. You will identify, implement and follow up on cost optimizations in our DC. By preparing different analyses connected with investments, business cases and current projects, you will actively support decision making. You will participate in local logistics and supply chain projects. Moreover, you will also participate in developing and redefining our controlling methods and tools. AND with your potential as a future leader, you will gather people towards common challenges in the area of controlling, inspire them to finding new ways of thinking and acting, and lead them from analysis and conclusions to ambitious actions. **YOUR QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES**: You have a strong professional background in financial and operational controlling (minimum of 3 years professional experience as a Controller). You have excellent analytical skills. Expert Excel knowledge is a must, experience in Power BI is a plus. You always focus on providing strong results. You are team-oriented and engaging with great collaboration and communication skills. Moreover, you are curious and have a great capacity to learn. You are a problem solver with an entrepreneurial spirit, as well as a flexible and agile omni-driven mindset.
