Project Portfolio Expert

**Region NCE>SBU NCE Service>Business Planning & Development** We, Operation Development, are a team of interdisciplinary experts who act as regional Service partner for the Vestas Service Onshore Central organisation, with the strategy to encourage continuous improvement and support the execution of the Service strategy. This includes co-developing and ensuring the use of best practice methods and processes, overall standards, performance management and steering the portfolio of improvement initiatives. **Responsibilities** - Develop, implement, and facilitate the portfolio management process and governance concept for regional projects such as improvement, profitability, and efficiency initiatives in the Service Onshore Central organisation - Develop and maintain the tool landscape for project portfolio evaluation and maintenance, e.g., business case template, project cockpit, and resource planning tool - Facilitate the monthly reporting process to ensure project data is maintained and information is shared with stakeholders; report to management on project progress, project metrics, questions, and risks - Evaluate operational performance to identify areas of improvement and give input for new projects; analyse project impact on operational performance - Organise, prepare, and facilitate project governance meetings, e.g., quarterly project portfolio committees and escalation meetings - Provide training and support on process, tools, and templates to ensure the portfolio management process is understood and followed in the Service Onshore Central organisation - Actively handle project stakeholders inside and outside the Service Onshore Central organisation **Qualifications** - Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or equivalent education - 3+ years of work experience in a project environment or matrix organization - Fluent in English and German - SAP and Microsoft Power BI knowledge is beneficial - Project/ Portfolio management certificate desirable (not mandatory) **Competencies** - Efficient portfolio or project management skills with the ability to define complex improvement projects across the organization - Efficient analytical and organisational skills - Ability to communicate and present in a clear and structured way, both written and verbally - Professional negotiator to ensure project requirements and deliverables are met - Ability to facilitate steering meetings with management stakeholders - Positive team-oriented person - Willingness to dive into technical details and topics **What we offer** We offer the great opportunity of joining a creative and high-paced team within a global environment.
