Lead Sourcing Specialist

**Job Description Summary**: Responsible for supporting Sourcing tasks related to Services required for the preventive and corrective actions in our Offshore windfarms. The “lead sourcing specialist” must identify the right supplier portfolio for each work package and negotiate the service contracts with the subcontractors providing the required labor. This role will solve complex problems, execute objectives, and support short-term/long-term business goals. A key element of this position will be to ensure business strategies are followed to ensure customer orders are delivered on time; meet the required quality and provide cost savings to the business.

**Roles and Responsibilities**:
- Identify/validate ideal supplier panel for all kind of labor services under his/her responsibility. Follow PDCA cycle to optimize supplier performance from RFQ to the conclusion of the work.
- Tender to the supplier panel based on precise specification/qualification and ensure competitive bidding.
- Make award decision based on qualification, competitive price and QCDM information.
- Support strategic sourcing in full adherence to company policies of supplier due diligence, qualification, and compliance.
- Identify technical and commercial opportunities for cost saving with suppliers.
- Meet annual cost reduction Kpi for his/her scope of parts.
- Generate cost avoidance by re-negotiating top offenders based on commodity strategy and business conditions. Negotiate and resolve negative purchase price variance.
- Negotiate Service contracts, long term supplier agreements and scope of work prior to buy.
- Identify new suppliers and update the supplier portfolio in accordance with new needs, market competitiveness, localization of services in the region, etc.
- Carry out subcontractors and contractors hiring in leased contract of fix scope in respect of local regulations.
- Concisely communicate status of critical quote and order lines to management in a timely manner.
- Main interface between internal customers and suppliers.
- Drive continuous improvement projects for Offshore fast developing organization. Support on the development of new policies or processes in Sourcing or Supply Chain in general.
**Required Qualifications**:
- Degree from an accredited university in Business Management, Engineering or equivalent.
- Commercial understanding and negotiation skills by previous experience in Purchasing/Sourcing dept. of a multinational company. Preferably in the Wind OEM industry.
- Experience managing complex service contract negotiation with suppliers in cooperation with Legal Dpt.
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels. Experienced on top-management presentations.
- Proved experience or education on supplier compliance topics and policy making.
- Ability to organize, assess, prioritize tasks, risks, resources, milestones, and deliverables.
- Ability to work under pressure and by objectives.
- Positive results-oriented mindset and “can do” attitude
- Excellent English and basic German communication skills.
**Desired**:
- Demonstrated technical aptitude on the use of ERP’s. Oracle Races will be an advantage.
- Strong sourcing background in well-structured Purchasing organization of a multinational OEM.
- Strong interpersonal, influencing and communication skills.
- Frequent user of Excel and able to deal with big amount of data.
- Experienced in working remotely with colleagues from other countries and cultures.
- Available to travel (wind fairs, suppliers, internal meetings or events...)
