Art Director

**Your mission**:
Are you intrinsically passionate about storytelling and excited by the possibilities of immersive, multimedia experiences? We are looking for an Immersive Experience **Art Director**to help shape and lead the creative vision and delivery of some of our dynamically Original projects.

For over two decades, our internationally renowned multimedia design studio has been creating **groundbreaking exhibitions, interactive installations, stage productions, live performances, fashion events, and data-driven artworks**. We work at the intersection of **art, technology, and design**, crafting experiences that are emotionally resonant, technically ambitious, and visually unforgettable.

Now, we’re looking for an **experienced Art Director** with a holistic understanding of immersive production who can oversee creative pipelines, lead teams, and translate bold ideas into beautifully executed realities.

As an immersively experienced **Art Director,**you will act as the overarching creative lead and integrator across disciplines. You will be responsible for ensuring that storytelling, design, technology, and production timelines align seamlessly.

You will:

- Own the **creative vision** for immersive projects, ensuring strong, coherent storytelling across multimedia outputs.
- Oversee **end-to-end immersive production elements and timelines**, from early concept through delivery and on-site installation.
- Translate **client needs, wants, and objectives** into clear creative briefs for the design team and into actionable inputs for the design and production pipeline.
- Lead and mentor a **design team of 3+ creatives**, fostering collaboration, playfulness, and creative excellence.
- Make confident, informed **creative decisions within larger multidisciplinary team pipelines**, balancing ambition, feasibility, and timelines.
- Act as a key **client-facing communicator**, clearly explaining creative ideas, visual directions, and production processes.
- Oversee and guide the use of **digital and immersive tools** to identify creative solutions and outcomes for complex projects.
- Ensure strong alignment between **audio and visual storytelling**, and oversee how these elements interact within immersive environments.
- Collaborate closely with internal and external partners, including **developers, producers, sound designers, lighting designers, choreographers, cinematographers, and third-party vendors**.
- Maintain a high-level overview of schedules, dependencies, and deliverables, ensuring projects stay **on time and creatively on point**.

This role is for a true **overseer**: someone who can zoom out to see the full narrative arc while still understanding the details of tools, pipelines, and outputs.

**Your profile**:
We’re looking for a confident, curious, and playful creative leader who loves to tinker, experiment, and tell stories through immersive media.

You bring:

- Proven experience as an **Art Director or Senior Creative** on immersive experiences, exhibitions, installations, or interactive environments.
- A strong **overarching understanding of immersive production pipelines**, workflows, and timelines.
- Experience **leading teams of 3 or more**, with a collaborative and inspiring leadership style.
- A deep, intrinsic **passion for storytelling**, including linear narratives, interactivity, gameplay, and overarching story worlds.
- The ability to confidently **make creative decisions** within complex, multidisciplinary team structures.
- Experience translating **client briefs into creative direction**, and creative direction into structured design and production pipelines.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects), 3D software like Cinema 4D. Bonus points if your familiar with Touch Designer and/or Blender.
- Familiarity with **AI imagery tools** and an understanding of real-time and immersive platforms such as **Unreal Engine**.
- A solid grasp of **creative tooling** used in immersive and digitally driven projects, and the ability to guide teams toward the right solutions.
- Strong communication skills, both internally and externally, with the ability to clearly articulate **ideas, processes, and timelines**.
- A strong understanding of how **audio and visual elements work together** to create emotional and spatial impact.
- Bonus: experience working with or overseeing **lighting design, choreography, cinematography, and third-party technical partners**.
