**Job Summary**:
**What You Will Do**:

- Build suitable crash use case data with the ALTAIR explicit finite-element solver Radioss.
- Use DOE algorithms to generate simulation results and run optimization and design exploration tasks.
- Prepare simulation results for deep learning
- Use deep learning software (Altair PhysicsAI) to train on generated data

**What You Will Need**:
**Basics**:

- Actively enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s program in Germany, ideally with a technical focus
- Knowledge about numerical simulation of mechanical structures, explicit finite-element methods preferred.
- Basic knowledge of optimization methods.
- Motivation to learn and adopt scripting (Python,..)

**Preferred**:

- Python knowledge
- HyperMesh and Altair mechanical solvers, explicit solvers preferred
