Accountant (M/w/d) Native/fluent Japanese Speaker

A well-established chemical, pharmaceutical, and life sciences company based in Düsseldorf is seeking to expand its EU business.

Tasks
- Handling all financial transactions
- Accounts receivable, accounts payable, financial and asset accounting
- Preparation of monthly VAT returns and other mandatory reporting
- Collaboration with tax auditors, providing information and supporting documentation
- Preparation of weekly and monthly reports for the HQ in Japan and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB (German accounting standards)

**Requirements**:

- Completed commercial apprenticeship/study or equivalent
- Working experience in an Accounting role
- Native or fluent Japanese, good to fluent German and English language skills
- ERP system knowledge
