**Duties**:

- Works under general supervision of the Leisure Activities Manager. Accompanies guests during tours.
- Gives detailed explanations and interpretations of tour features from the standpoint of historical development and historical background, introduction, and discussion of facts and features influencing present condition.
- Provides information of historical facts and other characteristics of the tour area and circumstances associated with their origin. All tour presentations are conducted in English.
- Serves as salesclerk on a rotating basis. During assigned shift, provides information to guests upon request, i.e., tour schedules, prices, length of tours, etc.
- Sells various accountable and non-accountable tickets, souvenir booklets, etc., and keeps applicable records thereof. Prepares daily activity reports indicating number of passengers of each tour, tickets sold, money collected etc.

- Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.
- Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
- Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2.
- Incumbent may also require completing a Tier 1 background investigation for a Common Access Card for physical access to federally controlled facilities.
- This position may require coverage on weekends, evenings, and holidays or other special situations.

**Qualifications**:
Must speak and write the English language sufficiently to communicate orally or in writing on matters pertaining to the assigned work.
Spelling and grammar must be correct.
A good working knowledge of the German language is highly desirable but not mandatory.
Must have or be able to obtain current American Red Cross First Aid and CPR/AED training certification within 6 months of hire.
