At**Nordic Nest, we are one of the largest players in the world of Scandinavian design. With over 500 employees, a headquarters in Sweden, and an office in South Korea, we have taken great strides since our start in 2002 and are now on an exciting journey. With a total annual revenue of over 200 MEUR, we operate, in addition to e-commerce, five physical stores under the Svenssons brand across Sweden, and our journey in Germany began digitally as early as 2008. Now, we are taking the next big step by opening our very first physical **Nordic Nest store - in Hamburg**

Our mission is to help customers create homes they love. We are now looking for a driven and experienced Store Manager who not only has a passion for home interiors and sales but also wants to be part of building something completely new. This is a unique opportunity to join us on our journey and play a vital role in creating the world’s best customer experience - in our very first Nordic Nest store

**About the role**:
As Store Manager, you will have an overall responsibility for the success of the store - from daily operations and team management to long-term strategy and development. You will work closely with your team to achieve fantastic sales results, deliver a world-class customer experience, and ensure the store runs smoothly and efficiently.
- Your main responsibilities include:_
- **Leading and inspiring the team**: Coaching and developing employees to achieve both individual and collective goals.
- **Sales and customer experience**: Actively working with sales and customer interaction to ensure every customer receives world-class service.
- **Visual presentation**: Ensuring the store always reflects Nordic Nest’s aesthetic and design values.
- **Operations and planning**: Managing schedules, budgets, cost follow-ups, recruitment, and administrative tasks.
- **Labor law and compliance**: Ensuring the store complies with German labor laws and other local regulations.

Additionally, your mission will be to develop and continuously improve the store in terms of leadership, customer interaction, efficiency, attractiveness, and profitability, ensuring we meet our goals.

**Who we’re looking for**

We are searching for someone with extensive experience in successfully leading stores, preferably at a higher level, who thrives in a strategic leadership role where you combine overarching responsibility with operational tasks. Perhaps you have previously worked as a regional manager, district manager, or in similar roles where you were responsible for multiple stores or larger teams. It is important that you are a team player with strong business acumen and a passion for delivering results.

To succeed in this role, we believe you are an inspiring leader who creates engagement and motivation within the team. You are driven to achieve results through both sales and customer experience. Your positive energy and solution-oriented mindset contribute to the development and success of both the team and the store.

You have experience leading successful store teams and a strong interest in interior design and home décor. Your structured and organized way of working helps you prioritize and deliver high-quality results, even in a fast-paced environment.

- Proven experience in leading multiple stores, large teams, or holding a key role with overarching responsibility in retail, preferably within home interiors.
- Strong business acumen and the ability to deliver both short
- and long-term goals.
- A genuine passion for design and customer service.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and engage a team.
- Knowledge of German labor laws.
- Fluency in both German and English.

**Are you the one we’re looking for?**:
The position as Store Manager is a permanent role based in our newly opened Hamburg store, with a planned launch in August/September.
