Trade Media Relations Expert

We are looking for a Trade Media Relations Expert (F/M) for our Marketing department based in Aubagne (France) or Germany or in Europe. By joining this team, you will manage all external media activities related to the Bioprocess Solutions (BPS) market.

**Media Relations & External Communications**
- Act as the primary operational point of contact for Corporate Communications regarding all external media activities related to the BPS (Bioprocess Solutions) market.
- Responsible for the preparation, review, editing and distribution of press releases and media statements, following the internal communication guidelines and approval processes, guaranteeing compliance from all internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Ensure timely dissemination of Sartorius BPS news to scientific magazines, trade publications, and relevant newsfeeds.
- Lead preparation of BPS special reports profiling Sartorius BPS leaders and company experts. Liaison with external editorial teams, interviewees (internal or external), preparation of interview questions, participate in interviews and review until publication.
- Social media plan for press releases and external news, (video) interviews and other assets, in collaboration with internal stakeholders such as BPS Marketing teams, Product Management, Sales and/or CorpCom.
- Build relationships with the editorial teams of all relevant media houses for BPS.
- Benchmark trade media activities against our major competitors

**Project Management & Operational Follow up**
- All tasks related to press releases and related social media posts will be organized within dedicated Asana projects.
- Maintain and regularly update existing media contact lists and distribution databases to ensure accuracy and reach.
- Maintain calendars, schedules, and appointments related to media engagements, interviews, and advocacy activities.
- Track deadlines and coordinate timelines for content development, approvals, and publication.

**What will convince us**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Journalism or Marketing/Media Relations or related field, Scientific background is a plus
- Minimum 5 years’ experience ideally working for a publisher or communication department in the Life Sciences/ Biopharmaceutical industry
- Strong industry networker with excellent communication and technical writing skills
- Basic video graphing skills for short expert interviews for social media appreciated
- Proficient in MS Office; familiarity with software used in marketing roles is a plus
- Excellent multi-task organization skills
- Team player, target oriented and self-motivated
- Strong attention to detail
- Fluent English
