**Responsibilities**:

- Management of a team in the area of Environmental Protection
- Execution and coordination of due diligences in the area of environmental protection and occupational health and safety
- Technical management of contaminated site projects and internal consulting for the sites concerned
- Conducting HSE audits and training at Freudenberg locations worldwide
- Providing technical advice and support for initiatives focusing on environmental protection and resource conservation (in particular air, water emissions, waste, energy) in the Business Groups
- Promoting the exchange of information between locations in Germany and abroad on environmental protection issues

**Qualifications**:

- Successfully completed university degree, in the field of natural or engineering sciences
- At least 4-6 years of professional experience with the implementation of due diligences and remediation of contaminated sites as well as in the field of environmental, occupational and health protection gained in an industrial or consulting company
- Experience in project management
- Very good knowledge of English and German and, desirably, other foreign languages
- Knowledge in the field of occupational safety would be advantageous, ideally a degree in occupational safety specialist or equivalent
- Structured systematic approach as well as strategic and flexible thinking skills
- Analytical, communicative and organizational skills as well as an independent and responsible working style
- The position requires a willingness to travel (nationally and internationally)
