**What is the role?**
The Sales and Marketing Specialist is a member of the local cluster organization and supports the cluster sales and marketing activities.

This person will be responsible for supporting Marketing with events, congress, local program translation checks, expense management, data collection for European Marketing, budget management, service and repair management, recall management, complaints and sales support management.

The position is based in our Office in Ratingen (closed to Düsseldorf) and reports solid line directly to the cluster Business Director or Country Manager.

**What are the key responsibilities?**
Marketing Support:

- Coordinates and implements all local congress and event needs. This includes managing the cluster congress calendar, booth design, set up and allocation, symposia organization and event management.
- Deliver locally translated Marketing Programs and Tools to the local organization
- Reviews translated material coming from EMEA or GBU Marketing compared to original English version.
- Manages Marketing expenses and budgeting.
- Helps collect country data for EMEA Marketing Insights
- Helps Marketing with recalls.

Sales support:

- Provides sales training, material and answers questions about products.
- Coordinates local sales meetings.
- Assists with complaints and backorders.
- Helps manage equipment through the service and repair process.
- Administrative management of sales forecasts updated in BTA, GPO calculations.

Tender assistance:

- Assists putting tenders together and forecasting for Planning.

**What education and experience are required?**
- Fluent in English and German language
- Post-graduate Marketing or equivalent job experience prior commercial support service experience a plus

- Ability to work cross-functions / cross-divisions in a multicultural environment - team player.
- Good interpersonal and communications skills engaging and adjusting to the audience

- IT skills, including all Microsoft packages and a CRM platform (preferably Salesforce)
