KG You support our team as Head of direct Material (Lead Buyer) (f/m/d) **Responsibilities**: Development and continuous review of the product group strategy, including definition of the procurement market Continuous optimization of costs and processes (OTD, availability, lead time, quality, innovation, risk & compliance management) for the respective product group Optimization and contractual safeguarding of the supplier base in terms of costs, quality and delivery performance, innovation (global key account) Disciplinary management of the commodity buyers in Germany and Austria and professional management worldwide, including objectives, evaluation and development Ensure transparency and management of global activities **This for the product groups in the following Commodity**: Subcontracting, Machined parts and Intercompany business **Qualifications**: Successfully completed studies in the field of business administration, industrial engineering or similar or a comparable qualification Several years of experience in purchasing, procurement, supply chain management (minimum 5-7 years) and thorough understanding of purchasing Skills in the field of production technologies such as turning and milling operations and coating techniques are advantageous Distinctive negotiation skills and assertiveness in combination with analytical and conceptual skills A high degree of initiative, flexibility and team spirit as well as an entrepreneurial way of thinking and acting First managerial experience an advantage and readiness to travel Safe handling of MS Office and SAP MM Proficient in German and English The Freudenberg Group is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion.
