**Your future plans**
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and dedicated (Senior) Commodity Accountant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the commodity accounting closing process for individual Asia-pacific trading desks in working closely with Controlling / Risk / Back Office and other accounting. You will be the commodity accounting business partner for the local management.
- Coordinate and align local requirements and support local management as Asia Pacific business partner
- Run commodity Accounting closing process, ensuring smooth month / quarter / year-end procedures
- Reconcile internal performance reporting (full fair value view) to IFRS (and HGB) standards
- Post unrealised derivatives and accruals for realized transactions
- Collaborate closely with accounting principles and risk teams to evaluate, assess, and process new transactions
- Analsze and identify technical accounting, process, and system-related data issues, providing transparency to management
- Provide support for accounting-related projects

**Your powerful skills**
- Hold a degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
- In-depth knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
- Strong analytical skills, with experience working with complex data (e.g. SQL)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Access
- Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to convey information clearly and effectively
- Demonstrated commitment, initiative, and ability to work well within a team
- Openness to taking on new tasks and a strong willingness to develop professionally

**Advantageous, but not a must**
- Familiarity with SAP FI and S/4HANA
- Experience in the field of risk management and valuation or controlling
- Experience in the field of commodity trading
