Student Trainee

**Your Tasks and Responsibilities**:
You will support our lab teams in part time (2 days per week, 10-16 hours per week) by preparing consumables and independently conducting small experiments such as:

- Preparation of buffers, media, agar plates and other laboratory consumables
- Cleaning and sterilization of laboratory glassware
- Supporting preparations for experiments
- Plasmid preparations (mini and maxi scale)
- Assisting with phage display work (e.g. phage preparations and phage titer determination)
- SDS-PAGE
- Careful documentation of the experiments in an electronic lab notebook

**What we are looking for**:
Yor are a person who is well organized, service-orientet, thorough and diligent in his/her task completion and you are currentlyenrolled in a study program in the life sciences field (m.SC.) and you have:

- Hands-on experience in molecular biology laboratories through your bachelor thesis, external internships, or several lab courses- You are available 2 days per week,with a total of 10-16 working hours per week- You are available for an aimed contract duration of 12 months- You have a high level of reliability- Good knowledge of English (spoken and written)
