Studio Fizbin is an award-winning independent studio from Germany, with offices in Berlin and Ludwigsburg. We make compelling and hand-crafted games since 2011. In 2021, we released “Minute of Islands” and “Say No More” among other projects and released “The Inner World 1+2” before. Now, we are going forward on our biggest project yet and want you to join us.

**Requirements**:
Our ideal 3D Animation Artist has a profound understanding of the art pipeline within game development and is accustomed to agile, iterative production processes. They appreciate and demonstrate open, empathetic and professional communication and demonstrate a deep fascination for visual design and creative problem-solving. They are playful and strive for crisp and innovative visuals.
They have a keen eye for character expression and experience with the particular animation challenges of a real time action game.
- Proficiencies in Unity & Blender
- Fast and expressive 3D character animation skills for action titles
- additional experience in expressive animation of anorganic and environment assets
- some experience with creating or adjusting rigs in Blender for simple game assets
- ability to implement animations in Unity
- Strong ideation, brainstorming and documentation skills

**Responsibilities**:

- Help bring dangerous creatures, cute critters and expressive characters to life
- Create kinetic and fluid combat animations, tailored to fast-paced action gameplay
- Help develop flashy and stylish animation for isometric real time combat in a 2.5D game
- Collaborate with game designers on animation planning and smart implementation

**Bonus points**:
Experience in rigging humanoid characters, frame by frame 2D animation and creating of VFX for games is a bonus.
A strong affinity to anime, typography, graffiti, sci-fi, fantasy and punk music are also a big plus.
