Your Mission
- Helping to shape the transport transition by establishing and expanding a public charging network for electric mobility in the German market.
- Establishing lantern charging as an important part of the public charging infrastructure on the German market and placing our other charging infrastructure products as part of Shell's smart city strategy
- Developing concepts for cities and municipalities for the expansion of their charging infrastructure, the implementation of which you will drive forward in an interdisciplinary manner together with the hardware and software development teams.
- Identifying suitable cities and regional partners and building strategic partnerships
- Advising customers, urban stakeholders and decision-makers on current developments in the field of charging infrastructure and jointly outlining roll-out scenarios.
- Your work builds on the market analyses of the Business Development Team and ends at the interface to the Operations Team, which is responsible for the development and operation of the charging points.
**Responsibilities**:
- Independently lead our offer to commercial success in your own market region
- Design and implement appropriate activities and measures
- Initiating and maintaining relationships with customers and key stakeholders in a particular market region
- Developing a successful market entry in Germany and targeted expansion of market shares
- Identify scaling potential in projects to lay the foundation for a nationwide roll-out.
- Develop an understanding of the electromobility ecosystem and the important role played by cities, companies in the energy supply, grid operation and mobility sectors.
- Translate public tenders into competitive, successful commercial offers.
- Develop and improve the product and service offering in close cooperation with the product development teams (hardware + software).
**Profile**:
- Completed Bachelor's/Master's degree: economics, engineering, MBA or comparable qualifications.
- Enthusiasm for topics related to the energy and mobility transition and how to implement these topics in a user-oriented way
- Your pronounced ability to work in a team motivates you to solve problems together
- You find it easy to communicate transparently and act in a solution-oriented manner
- Experience in one or more of the areas of sales, business development, consulting, project management or (technical) sales is desirable
- A customer-oriented mindset with which you can present technical products to customers in a comprehensible way
- This requires both a technical affinity and a business instinct to evaluate the feasibility of projects and make attractive offers
- Start topics and projects on your own initiative from scratch and actively drive them forward
- Fluency in English and German
