**The Engineering Team Lead Position**:

We are looking for an Engineering Teamlead to join our Base Platform Group, where you will lead a team responsible for designing and implementing data integrations across distributed systems. Your team will work on building and optimizing interfaces that facilitate the seamless exchange of data between our platform and customer systems, such as HRIS (Human Resource Information Systems), LMS (Learning Management Systems) and GRC (Governance, Risk, Compliance) platforms. Besides integrations with standard systems your team will also provide customer facing APIs which will allow them to set up custom integrations. You proactively align with Go-to-Market, Product Management and our customers on use cases and requirements, but also with our squads for standards, best practices and workflows to achieve a world-class customer and developer experience.

- Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, presenting complex concepts and findings in a clear and concise manner
- Stay informed about industry trends and advancements, identifying opportunities for growth and development within your team and the organization as a whole
- Foster a culture of collaboration, creativity, and continuous learning, empowering team members to reach their full potential and achieve shared objectives
- Support the team in the breakdown of complex problem into small increments that can be delivered regularly and allow quick iterations and testing out new ideas
- Identify and mitigate technical risks that may impact delivery, implementing incremental mitigation strategies over time
- Advocate for the right level of investment in solutioning and strive for robust implementations, providing reliable estimations and preventing system clutter
- Foster a collaborative mindset, encouraging cross-functional collaboration and empowering team members to take ownership of their work.

**Your profile**:

- 3+ years of experience in a leadership role, with a proven track record of successfully leading teams to achieve business objectives.
- Strong background in backend or fullstack development
- Experience with integrating and exchanging data between systems
- Experience in designing and building customer facing APIs
- Curiosity and openness to learning, embracing change, and proactively adapting to new requirements and environments.
- Strong product and business acumen, you really understand how to built a valuable product with real-work impact.
- Experience in utilizing product and engineering metrics to unlock the full potential of the team and maximize overall product impact.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a structured and holistic approach to complex challenges.
- Ability to identify and mitigate technical risks, ensuring on-time and safe delivery of new product capabilities.
- Mastery in software engineering principles and effective design patterns suitable for different development scenarios.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering teamwork, collaboration, and mentorship.
- Passion for staying up-to-date with industry trends and advancements, with a keen interest in driving innovation and excellence.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliverables in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining a focus on quality and customer satisfaction.
- Fluent in English and optionally German
