**Responsibilities**:

- Process engineering support of products from inquiry/conception to series handover in cooperation with product development, material development and product marketing.
- Optimization of manufacturing processes and driving forward continuous improvement processes
- Tool design and construction for new customer products
- Development, design and procurement of machines, systems and auxiliary equipment for economical series production
- Preparation of specifications for machine procurement and support of the ordering process as well as acceptance tests
- Process and tool optimization on series articles, as well as active process development on the machines and introduction of new processes into series production
- Global technology transfer (USA / China)

**Qualifications**:

- Successfully completed studies in the field of mechanical engineering, ideally with a focus on rubber, plastics or process engineering, or comparable vocational training plus professional experience
- Several years of experience in the extrusion technology of technical elastomers as well as in the design and manufacture of tools
- High technical understanding, esp. in mechanics, sensor technology and control engineering
- Project management experience, as well as a structured approach to work
- Very good knowledge of German and English, both written and spoken
- CAD knowledge (ideally in Solid Works), Lean and Six Sigma
- Independent responsible work style, team spirit and interdisciplinary thinking
