**Who will you be joining?**

Group Data and Analytics (GDA) is the AI and Data Analytics center of competence for the Allianz Group, a global leader in insurance and asset management, responsible for shaping the global AI and data analytics agenda and driving the implementation of data analytics solutions at scale.

GDA has two main responsibilities:
1. Global solution development and delivery: Developing and deploying globally scalable AI and Data Analytics solutions which deliver tangible business impact

2. Enablement and empowerment: Establishing the foundations to enable the adoption of AI and DA across the Group by creating transparency on capabilities and assets, providing expert knowledge to local data science teams, orchestrating communities of practice and maintaining common architecture and coding principles

We are currently recruiting a forward-thinking and results-oriented intern to join our team in Munich, Germany. You will be part of an international and multidisciplinary team of data scientists, data engineers, solution architects, business analysts and functional experts. You will have the opportunity to contribute to and shape Allianz' strategic agenda towards data analytics, machine learning, and artificial intelligence along the insurance value chain.

**How can you make an impact?**
- Playing an active role in shaping the forward-looking strategic agenda of Allianz towards Data and Analytics in collaboration with Group Strategy and other internal stakeholders
- Scouting, identifying and evaluating relevant current trends, tech start-ups and business models and supporting the resulting development of effective courses of action, decision documents or memos
- Supporting the preparation of presentations for board meetings, strategic and planning cycles, workshops, etc.
- Taking responsibility to maintain and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Supporting all team members of the Strategy and Innovation team in their tasks and projects

**What are you made of?**

**Minimum Qualifications**
- Student enrolled in MBA program, Business Administration or related field at Master level
- Excellent academic achievements
- Written and spoken English is essential, German is helpful
- Excellent proficiency of Office 365, in particular Excel and Powerpoint
- Previous experience in business related functions (e.i. Sales, Operations, Claims, Underwriting, Investment Management, Asset Management, Consulting, Product Development, Finance, Market Management, Digital / Tech etc.) is a plus- Requirement for internship and working student positions is the enrollment in a university - or (for an internship) a gap year-
- Certificate of enrollment (exception gap year)- **Preferred Qualifications**
- Previous internship in consulting, corporate strategy, investment banking, venture capital or M&A
- Strong analytical and conceptual thinking, a strategic mindset contributing to the team spirit through curiosity and drive for new challenges
- Passion for innovation and digitalization showing customer-focused thinking in the way you approach tasks
- High interest in data analytics and AI incl. their impact on insurance and financial markets
- Data Analytics / Data Science / Artificial Intelligence know-how helpful but not a must
- Strong team ethics
