**THE POSITION**:
This position is limited for 2 years.
***Tasks & responsibilities**:
- In your new Role you will be responsible for simulation and optimization of solid drug manufacturing processes to make high-quality medicine through the integration of Quality by Design principles-
- You will develop and implement state-of-the-art models and predictive tools and, together with all relevant stakeholders, transform models into use cases-
- You will create mechanistic and AI models for continuous and batch processesIn addition, you will set up efficient data treatment pipelines to interlink models and process data***Requirements**:
- Ph.D. in process engineering, pharmaceutical engineering, applied mathematics or similar-
- Proficiency in process simulation and/or in process optimization-
- Familiarity in the processing and characterization of powders and granules-
- Knowledge in some of modern modeling approaches, e.g. population balance models (PBM), discrete element method (DEM), flowsheet simulation and programming languages e.g. Python, C++, Matlab-
- Knowledge in data science and machine learning would be beneficial-
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills with the ability to actively contribute to interdisciplinary teams. Scientific mindset, analytical skills, quick comprehension of complex problems-
