(Senior) Counsel REW - Operations & Services and Energy (m/w/d)

**What you will enjoy doing**
- You act as primary Counsel and trusted advisor for REW Regional Function Operations & Services, its core team spread across REW and its remote operations centres in REW and in this context legal sparring partner for Head of Operations & Services, the REW Operations & Services core team, its Remote Operations Centres and, in collaboration with local counsels, all employees in the Operations & Services departments of all Business Units across REW
- In addition you are also primary Counsel for European and German Energy and Climate Change Law Matters, including European and National Emissions Trading Law and in this context legal sparring partner for Energy Procurement managers, mainly in Germany but also across REW.
- You will team up with REW local/specialist counsels in the drafting and commenting of relevant legal sales (including, but not limited to onsite gas supply contracts) documents for Linde’s legal entities contracting under different European laws
- Support to Linde Gas Produktionsgesellschaft mbH & Co. KG on its operational matters. Support to BU Switzerland Operations & Services
- Form integral part of Linde’s Global Law Department, reporting to Head of Legal REW

**What makes you great**
- You bring full qualification as inhouse legal counsel (Syndikusrechtsanwalt) in Germany, additional qualifications in another REW jurisdiction is a plus
- You have profound knowledge of German and European laws generally, and Energy and Environmental laws in particular
- Furthermore you bring profound understanding of foreign law systems acquired partially via experience and foreign studies e.g. LL.M.
- At least 7+years’ post qualification experience as a lawyer in the relevant areas, out of which at least 2 years of relevant expertise in a comparable in-house role or in a law firm
- Industry knowledge in the gases/chemical and/or energy sector is important
- Experience, ability and desire to work in cross-functional and trans-national teams
- You have strong time management skills and ability to prioritize
- Business fluent in written and spoken German and English; any additional REW language is a plus
