HiveMQ’s Vision for this role

HiveMQ is a fast growing company with employees and customers all over the world. The HiveMQ Marketing team has a wide variety of tasks: from communicating our solution to potential customers, and educating different audiences with high-quality content about MQTT and its potential, to supporting other teams at HiveMQ with demand-generation, visual communication, and more. The first touchpoint with HiveMQ for most of our customers is the website. You will help the website team update the backend and frontend of the website. As an intern you can work up to 40 hours per week for HiveMQ.

Tasks

You will
- Use markup languages like HTML, CSS and Markdown to create user-friendly web pages
- Help back-end developers with coding and troubleshooting
- Ensure high quality graphic standards and brand consistency
- Work with design tools to create graphics based on new design concepts

**Requirements**:
You have
- Experience with markup languages like HTML, Markdown
- Experience with JavaScript and CSS Frameworks like Bootstrap
- Experience with GitHub and know how to work with feature branches
- Knowledge about browser testing and debugging
- In-depth understanding of the entire web development process (design, development and deployment)
- Understanding of layout aesthetics
- Familiarity with software like Canva, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop, Illustrator
- An ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment
- ideally experience with static site generators like Hugo, Jekyll, Gatsby
