**Senior Security Architect, Cloud**
**What **to expect**:
- Architect security features for data lake and define data engineering management protocols
- Oversee security infrastructure for product development and dataflow workstreams
- Create security procedures and policies across the digital unit
- Establish key guardrails for ensuring the security of data engineering efforts
- Collaborate with the Data Science Lead and IT leadership to define back-end systems architecture
- Ensure all new products are compliant with GDPR and other consumer protection laws
- Support and respond to security compliance and audit items
- Develop safeguards in the event of a digital security breach, as well as backup plans
- Review and advise on audit plans and results of regional-specific security architecture requirements as per defined and agreed high-level design and low-level design
- Collaborate with architects from other domains, regions and third-party solutions
- Review current system security measures and recommend enhancements
- Collaborate with various organizational stakeholders to lead change and cultivate an environment of security-driven thinking, innovation, rigor and continuous improvement
**Personal Requirements**:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT/ Information Systems/ Business/ Technology with a preferred master’s degree
- Prefer to hold a security certification like CISSP or security architecture certification like SABSA
- Thorough knowledge of production with Cloud / DevOps environments, data engineering and data lake security management best practices
- Thorough knowledge of Security Architecture Frameworks, Cybersecurity frameworks and IT Risk Management
- Several years of relevant work experience with corporate security architecture environments, securing and evaluating traditional enterprise IT and digital infrastructure and implementing security technologies with regard for business objectives
- Deep understanding of information security topics and regulations, preferably focusing on digital transformation and cloud
- Experience collaborating between different teams and external vendors located in global locations preferred
- Ability to demonstrate technical communication as well as business and tech acumen
- Experience making architecture decisions at a team and product level
- Security Architecture familiarity in Security roadmaps, Product evaluation/proof of concept, Security Innovation, Network security (WAN, Mail, DNS, DLP, Proxy, Crypto, etc.), production cloud/ DevOps security, EUC/Server security architecture, Data classification, Security and privacy regulations
- Experience in Agile Development, with specific Solution Architect experience preferred
- Experience with organizational process improvement concepts and process maturity models
