What you'll do
As our Origination Director, you’ll be providing strategic and day-to-day support for a range of client services, business development activities and origination opportunities for NatWest Bank Europe.
At NatWest Bank Europe, our clients include sponsors and sponsor-owned corporates established in European Economic Area (EEA) and Switzerland, as well as the subsidiaries of United Kingdom (UK) corporates in these regions.
It’ll be your job to help these clients achieve their goals by providing structured financing solutions and facilitating access to NatWest Group’s broader range of products and services.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Leading a team of specialists in Project & Infrastructure Finance at NWBE
- Developing and managing your own portfolio of new and existing sponsor and corporate clients
- Helping your clients make informed decisions on the products and services best suited to their needs
- Developing strategies to maintain and deliver first class client experiences
- Leading and supporting the development of our growth ambitions in Europe
- Contributing to and coordinating the expansion of products and services that will add value to our Western European sponsor and corporate client base
- Acting as a key liaison between our Frankfurt and London businesses
The skills you'll need
We’re looking for an experienced finance professional to join us in this role. You’ll need corporate banking and structured finance experience too, with a specific track record of success in project & infrastructure finance.
You’ll also bring:
- Knowledge and experience of credit and loan structuring
- An understanding of internal, regulatory and operational controls and procedures
- Up-to-date knowledge of corporate banking products and services
- The ability to analyse and use MI effectively
- Great collaboration and relationship building skills
- Experience of leading and motivating teams in a regulated environment
