BIMOVIS is an innovative structural biology start-up at the HIP campus in Heidelberg. With training, consultation, and services, we support our customers in making the best possible use of structural biology according to their individual needs. To strengthen our team, we are looking for a committed and qualified employee in the field of cryo-electron microscopy and structural biology.

**Responsibilities**:

- Establishment and management of the cryo-EM division in the company.
- Planning, implementation and conducting of protein structure determinations including protein production and purification.
- Supervision and training of junior scientists and technicians in cryo-EM techniques and protocols.
- Development and optimization of cryo-EM workflows to improve data quality and efficiency.
- Publication of scientific results in collaboration with our customers and partners.
- Staying up to date with the latest advancements in cryo-EM and related technologies to ensure the division remains at the forefront of the field.
- Representing the company at scientific conferences and exhibitions.

**Qualifications**:

- Deep experience in Cryo-EM including biophysical methods related to structural biology.
- PhD in structural biology with several years of postdoctoral and/or industrial work experience.
- Experience in protein crystallography and coding skills in Python is a plus.
- Ability to work independently, carefully, and reliably.
- Teamwork capability and intrinsic drive.
- Very good written and spoken German and English.
