On behalf of our Client, Scalors GmbH is looking for Head of Infrastructure and Operations to join Client’s team.

Our client is a dynamic, fast-growing startup focused on developing innovative technological solutions for critically ill patients. Were founded in 2019 as a spin-off of RWTH Aachen. Offers a positive collaborative work environment in an interdisciplinary and international team (working language is English and German) with flat hierarchies and many attractive perks.

Aufgaben
- Lead the technical management of hospital installation projects, ensuring they meet industry standards and client expectations.
- Develop and enforce policies for the maintenance and security of physical and digital infrastructure within healthcare environments.
- Spearhead the design and setup of a new cloud infrastructure, optimizing for scalability, reliability, and security.
- Oversee the deployment of cloud services and solutions, ensuring they align with healthcare compliance and regulatory standards.
- Provide strategic direction and support for service and operational teams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate infrastructure and operations with overall business strategies.
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to ensure cost-effective and high-quality services.

Qualifikation
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a leadership role within service, infrastructure or operations, preferably in the healthcare or medtech industry.
- Deep understanding of healthcare IT requirements, including GDPR, HIPAA, HITECH, and other relevant regulations.
- Expertise in designing, implementing, and managing cloud infrastructure and services, bonus for certifications in AWS, OTC, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform preferred.
- Strong background in network architecture, data center operations, and cybersecurity best practices.
- Experience with virtualization technologies, container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes), and automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform).
- Knowledge of ITIL or other IT service management frameworks.
- Excellent project management skills, with a track record of leading complex, cross-functional projects to successful completion.
- Fluent German.
