**Job Description**:

- as well as other operational indirect procurement needs. This position reports to Supply Chain Manager, collaborates with internal buyers, field office teams and liaises with external suppliers _

What will be your tasks?
- Run daily business in Supply Chain as well as ad hoc requests for quotations, solving of problems, claims resolution
- Assure compliance to established purchasing policies and procedures and legal requirements
- Participate in drafting, negotiating and concluding contracts for long-term supplies and capital items
- Actively involved in varied projects in support of business objectives: cost reductions, inventory reduction initiatives, lead - time reduction, lean manufacturing and 6-sigma; at a senior level may lead projects on a strategic level.
- Supplier evaluation, onboarding, development and contract management
- Leads the communication on ordering policies with suppliers including potential business trips to suppliers within EU
- Responsible for processing purchase orders, resolving chronic delivery issues, and supporting in resolving discrepant material issues.
- Focal point for purchased commitments; follows up with supplier deliveries and schedule changes. Investigate schedule delays, establish and communicate revised schedules. When constraints exist, work with the business to prioritize enterprise requirements based on need.
- Perform data analysis on spend and supplier base to identify opportunities for cost reductions, sourcing activities and supplier consolidation.
- Maintain data accuracy in information systems (e.g., ensure dates are up to date, part set-up, lot sizes, etc).

- Somebody with at least 3 years experience providing solid understanding of Purchasing/ Supply Chain Process and Lean Manufacturing principles.
- Somebody always seeking possibilities for cost reductions but keeping the highest quality standards.
- You communicate in German and English.
- You have Bachelor´s or Master´s degree
- You display skills in Project Management and ar comfortable with performing data analysis.
- Active driver with good PC skills (MS Office and ERP systems). Experience with Coupa system is preferred.
- Supply Chain Certification from a professional institution (ie. APICS, IIPMR, ISCEA, ISM, etc. ) is advanced.
