**Sales Specialist (M/F/d) General Industry**:

In this role as Sales Engineer (M/F/d) for General Industry in Robotics & Discrete Automation, you will be responsible for the sale of cutting-edge ABB robots family in Germany (small medium enterprises up to global customers) with focus in key account management. You will use your experience and drive to build long-standing customer relationships, identifying effective solutions for customer needs. In addition to your work in the home office, you will mainly be responsible for sales of the entire range of our extensive portfolio at customer sites.

Sales Manager

**Your responsibilities**:

- Driving sales volume and margin across the Robotics portfolio
- Establishing and maintaining strong customer relationships through excellent service and your knowledge of customer needs and ABB solutions
- Preparing sales plans and bids
- Providing customers with products/solutions/services in line with volume, mix and profitability targets
- Contributing to the identification and development of new market opportunities in collaboration with the wider Sales team
- Monitoring customer and market trends to develop effective marketing activities in collaboration with the Marketing team
- Monitoring competitor activity and ensuring appropriate response strategies are formulated and implemented

**Your background**:

- A specific degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, industrial engineering or comparable degree, alternatively degree in business administration with technical work experience
- Professional experience of at least 5 years in Sales with experience in Robotics business or industrial automation, preferably in the machine tools industry
- Able to collaborate with international teams
- Coordinate the flow of information for sales activities and transactions, including leads, billings, orders, contracts, etc. and evaluating data to ensure achievement of goals
- Monitoring and providing reports to the Marketing and Sales organization on market intelligence
- Experience in working with Sales force and web-based tools
- Fluency in German and English
- Strong communication and customer relationship-building skills with an open-minded personality
- Willingness to travel 70% by managing collaboration with customer onsite and online
