In the area of Data and Analytics (DAA), the Data team delivers global data products derived from both internal and external sources to support Munich Re's (MR) business units. A key responsibility of the team is to continuously advance Munich Re's data strategy. Our objective is to make both structured and unstructured data accessible and usable across all organizational areas. Additionally, integrating the data strategy into Munich Re's overall strategy is a crucial component. We aim to create a dynamic environment where all stakeholders can independently optimize processes using data and uncover new insights.

**Your Job**
- Participate in the conception and further development of Munich Re's data strategy, including identifying potential improvements and examining new technologies.
- Prepare and follow up on Executive Board Meetings and other committees related to the data strategy.
- Support the conception, evaluation, and implementation of strategic data-driven projects.
- Assist in creating presentations to communicate the data strategy and in preparing for conferences.
- Conduct research on topics relevant to data strategy, such as data management and data governance.

**Your Profile**
- Completed Bachelor's degree or final year of Bachelor's studies in Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, Economics, or Natural Sciences (or similar) with a quantitative focus.
- Initial experience in target group-oriented communication of complex strategic topics and the ability to present complex content clearly.
- Enthusiasm for working with data and new technologies such as GenAI.
- Interest in a wide range of technical or socially relevant topics that go beyond the (re)insurance sector (e.g., infrastructure, aviation, healthcare, finance, consumer market, etc.).
- Good knowledge of MS Office (especially PowerPoint and Excel).
- Good knowledge of SQL, Python, or R is an advantage.
- Initial experience in project management or corporate strategy is an advantage.
- Creative, open, and proactive, with excellent communication skills when dealing with various stakeholders.
- Very good English skills, both written and spoken (German is a plus).

Students from countries outside the EU require a German residence-/work permit.
