Handling material and material flow is critically important when supporting lean and quality focused manufacturing. Location: Kassel, Germany Reporting to: Dr. Gerd Fehlauer, Sen. Director of Operations **Responsibilitites**: - Receipt of goods / Incoming goods inspection - Loading, unloading, and securing of freight - Disposal of packaging materials - Sorting, storage, and order picking - Packaging of devices and shipping goods - Operation of industrial trucks (e.g., forklifts) - Physical movement of goods to various departments - Inventory control as part of ongoing stocktaking - Posting of materials in the ERP system - Optimization of picking strategies and identification of improvement potentials - Compliance with occupational safety standards and environmental aspects **Requirements**: - Completed dual vocational training as a Warehouse Logistics Specialist - Good understanding of materials management and posting transactions in ERP systems - Organizational diligence - Independent and goal-oriented work style - Good spatial awareness - Team player - Careful working approach and strong sense of responsibility with regard to accident prevention regulations - Openness to further training and high willingness to learn new technologies and processes in intralogistics - Solution-oriented work ethic - Good command of both German and English - Don't meet every single requirement?
