**About the role**

As a Product Owner for Business-to-Business Embedded Finance, you will have the exciting opportunity to take on a wide variety of stimulating responsibilities:

- Own an internal product vision, develop a compelling product roadmap and primarily responsible for the overall success of a net new SaaS product to be launched in the market
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders regularly to translate business and user requirements into EPICs, user stories and maintain a prioritized product backlog
- Recruit, coach and lead the product development team, plan workload around short development sprints
- Responsible for the quality, cost and delivery of the product over its entire life cycle across multiple releases to multiple clients
- Ensure that the product meets corporate requirements around product standards and deliver technical and non-functional capabilities aligned to the established architectural guidelines
- Request staffing for scrum teams from line management
- Closely collaborate and regularly align with the People Coach on team health, dynamics, impediments, training needs, career development

**Requirements**:
Ideally, you will bring:

- 8+ years of financial industry industry experience delivering digital innovation and transformation projects at banks or with a major IT consultancy
- Proven product management experience with team management role
- Knowledge of Product Ownership and Product Backlog management techniques are essential
- Knowledge and the ability to help practice software development practices in a modern context (TDD/BDD/ATDD, test automation, CI-CD) is an added advantage
- University degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field
- Expertise in Agile tools such as: Confluence, Jira and Github.
- DevOps knowledge: Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery
- Corporate & Business banking industry background, past work in a bank preferred around any of the following: Core Banking, Digital Banking, Origination, Lending, Trade-related financial products
- Communication and interpersonal skills
- Fluency in written and spoken English
