Accounts Administrator

An online sportsbook with their operations office in Malta would like to find an Accounts Administrator to join their small team. You will work closely wiht an assistant accountant and you both report directly to the Head of Finance.

The role suits someone with previous experience of working with Maltese financial reporting for a minimum or 1 year, and who is proactive and very well organized.

**Role & Responsibilities** (not limited to the below)
- All-round accounting;
- Maintenance of the general ledger and chart of accounts
- Preparation of journal entries
- PL and SL entries
- Reconciliation of incoming funds to invoices
- Processing of PL payments (bank transfers)
- Daily PSP reconciliations on a transaction level
- Monthly reconciliation of PSP balances
- Prepare monthly and annual account reconciliation
- Prepare and file required statutory reports
- Responsibility of the monthly payroll process
- Preparation of Tax and Audit submissions
- Administrative tasks incl HR-related

**Education, Skills & Experience**
- Qualified accountant, or in final stages of ACCA / accounting degree
- Excellent communication skills in English, written and spoken (C1)
- Basic understanding of German would be amazing
- At least 2 years' experience of working in accounting
- At least 1 year experience of working within accounting in Malta
- Experience of working with various PSPs
- Flexibility and teamwork skills
- Independent, accurate thinking
- Advanced MS Excel user
- Administration

You do not need to have experience of doing all expected of you - but you must want to work with all-round accounting and have the qualifications required.
