Are you an aspiring accountant in the making, or perhaps just qualified, and ready for an exciting opportunity to join a financial reporting team in Malta, handling transactions for financial trading?

Our client offers trading in over 1000 stocks, shares, ETFs and CFDs and has one of its offices in St Julian’s, Malta. They are looking for an Accounts Executive to join their finance team.

To be considered for this role, you will communicate fluently in **English** **and** one or more of the following languages**:Italian, Spanish, or German**.

**Role & Responsibilities**

All-round bookkeeping, including:

- Supplier invoice entries and payments
- Preparation of journal entries, accounts analysis and general ledger reconciliations
- Bank /PSP reconsiliations
- Accruals and prepayments
- Month-end reporting & assist with management accounts
- VAT return preparation and filing
- Assist with the preparation of the annual financial accounts
- Liaise with and support internal and external auditors
- Monitor cash flow through credit control

**Required Education, Skills & Experience**
- AAT qualified, or currently studying ACCA or Accounting degree
- 3 years’ experience of working in a financial reporting department
- Good communication skills in English
- Good communication skills in Italian, German, or Spanish
- Experience of working with financial products would be an asset
- Highly responsible, and able to work with mínimal supervision
- Meticulous with excellent numerical accuracy
- Advanced Excellent MS Excel skills
- Experience of working with financial reporting for Maltese entities
