**Project** Description**:

- The software inside a vehicle was traditionally expected to be a very controlled and self-contained environment. Equipping cars with perception and machine intelligence changes a lot in the overall picture of the vehicle manufacturer. LUXOFT's goal is to empower our customers, with deep domain knowledge and smart solutions, to develop cars of the future. Great mechanical engineering is not the only criteria anymore for delivering the best cars in the world. Using state of the art software technologies are key to provide the requested user experience.- Work on features that will be used daily by millions of drivers once the next generation of vehicles hit the roads, focusing on one of the following areas:
- HMI & UX;
- Body Control & Comfort functions;
- Connected Vehicle & Cloud Solutions;
- ADAS / Autonomous Driving;
- Simulation & virtual ECU;
- Sensor Calibration & Sensor Data Validation.

**Responsibilities**:

- As a Test Engineer you will contribute to the verification and validation of the software and systems being developed.
- Performing test drives and creating bug tickets including error description as well as log files;
- Maintaining the vehicles: analysis of car failures, installing new HW and equipment;
- Car flashing;
- Support in driving test vehicles;
- Providing a service around vehicles.

You will be part of a larger project team that embraces the mindset of agile development and takes responsibility for the end-product being developed. This larger project team believes in a work climate that value people and encourages innovation, collaboration and a professionalism.**Skills**:
Must have- Education: Master studies (or equivalent) in electronic engineering, computer science or a comparable field;
- European (DE) driver's license with 1-2 years driving experience in Germany;
- Basic understanding of the software development lifecycle, ideally along with agile principles;
- Experience in manual SW & HW testing;
- Open to learn new technologies and adjust to new ways of working;
- Good communication skills in English (writing & speaking) along with team spirit;
- First insights into Automotive Domain;
- JIRA / Confluence user;
- Technical background.

- Continuous learning attitude.

Nice to have
- F2 license to drive test vehicles;
- HV2 license to drive e-vehicles;
- Ability to flash and maintain the vehicles: analysis of vehicle faults;
- Automotive experience / background: CAN, LIN, Automotive Ethernet, Diagnostics, Variant Coding, etc.
- German proficiency is a plus.
- Experience flashing ECUs;
- Basic experience with Linux.
