Gaimersheim, Germany Engineering **Function "Traffic sign recognition"** Research / Development **To be filled from**: Immediately **Working environment** The position is located in the ADAS development department in Gaimersheim. You will take on tasks within the Traffic Sign Recognition team and be responsible for the concept design and implementation of the tool chain. The project consists of a hardware and a software part. **Tasks** A) Theoretical part - Familiarization with the Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2021/1958 - Definition of the concept for the tool chain - Definition of the homologation test procedure B) Practical part on the vehicle - Creation of an evaluation tool - Reenactments of type tests on the proving ground - Recording, analyzing and comparing measurement data - Support with the installation of measurement systems - Participation in test drives **REQUIREMENTS**: **Qualification** - You are currently at an advanced stage of your studies in automotive engineering or a comparable course of study - You already have extensive knowledge in the field of driver assistance systems - You are characterized by your methodical thinking and your knowledge of analytical evaluation methods - You are comfortable programming Excel macros, Matlab-Simulink etc. independently - Open and collegial interaction in a team is important to you - You are motivated and have the will to perform - You have a class B driver's license OTHER INFORMATIONS - **Education**: Engineering Degree or Equivalent - ** Language skills**:Fluent knowledge of written and spoken German (at least B2 level) and English are required.
