Logistics Coordinator

The Transmission Business unit of Prysmian is at the forefront of innovation and adaptation to the market trend of the cable industry, embracing emphasis on renewable energy generation. Within the Transmission Business Unit, as part of the Supply Chain organization, the Logistics Coordinator orchestrates the supply chain to enable a flawless high voltage cable installation.

The Logistics Coordinator is executing the logistics coordination activities of a high voltage cable project.

Responsibility of the Logistics Coordinator are:

- Coordination of multimodal, intermediate storage and last leg transport (these 3 areas are shared between other logistics coordinators - each expected to focus on certain area)
- translating of customer requirements into logistics solutions
- closely collaborate with (other parts of the) supply chain organization to align and implement work methods and best practices
- Collaboration with project management and other key functions
- Overseeing the key Subcontractors by maintaining the relationship and coordinating potential issues
- Reporting on project progress and subcontractor performance
- Managing the interface with the customer regarding specifications of storage, transport, drum and other logistic topics
