**Then come and join our global team as**Senior Data Scientist (f/m/d)**to**contribute to the success of Siemens Healthineers Procurement Digital Innovation and Development Center.**

**Choose the best place for your work**-**Within the scope of this position, it is possible, in consultation with your manager, to work mobile (within Germany) up to an average volume of 60% of the respective working hours.

**Even more flexibility?** Mobile working from abroad is possible for up to 30 days a year under certain conditions and in selected countries.

**Your tasks and responsibilities**:

- You develop innovative digital and AI solutions for the procurement organization, with a strong focus on designing and implementing AI assistants and intelligent automation tools to drive efficiency and business impact
- You act as a full-stack AI developer, handling the full lifecycle from data engineering and modeling to algorithm development, programming, and user interface design
- Lead technical projects and mentor junior team members, providing guidance on data science methods, coding best practices, and architectural decisions to ensure high-quality results
- Analyze and interpret complex procurement datasets, identify optimization opportunities, and translate findings into scalable, data-driven solutions supporting strategic decision-making
- Collaborate closely in a global, cross-functional innovation team, working with internal stakeholders and experts to deliver cutting-edge solutions in an agile environment

**Your qualifications and experience**:

- You have a completed Master's/Diploma degree in data science, mathematics, (business) computer science, statistics or a comparable field
- You acquired several years of professional experience in the areas of AI/ML, Business Analytics, Big Data and ideally in procurement or supply chain management
- You have strong knowledge of databases, data modeling, cloud platforms, data mining and analytics, RPA, and AI technologies (ML, NLP, conversational platforms); advanced skills in SQL, Python, and Azure
- You are very familiar with CI/CD concepts, AI/ML frameworks and libraries.
- Experience with tools such as Snowflake, GitHub, Databricks, OpenAI or Copilot is a plus
- You have a solid understanding of machine learning algorithms, statistical modeling, data preprocessing and feature engineering; experience with API integration and data/AI regulatory compliance
- Knowledge in IT Software Development and project management is a plus

Depending on the experience and qualifications background of the applicant, task enrichment into the area above the general pay scale is possible.
