RWE Renewables GmbH in the Sittensen cluster

We are looking for Onshore Service Technicians for our wind turbines in the Sittensen cluster as part of newly created positions. These technicians plan and carry out maintenance measures and repairs on all systems on the wind turbines of the onshore wind farms. In detail, the scope of duties includes the following activities:
**Your responsibilities**:

- Perform technical tasks according to general and operational instructions in the assigned area of responsibility
- Independently perform and coordinate routine inspections and maintenance on electrical, hydraulic and mechanical components
- Independent analysis, diagnosis, troubleshooting and fault clearance of plant components which additionally requires a higher degree of special knowledge and know-how of the individual wind turbine components (such as gearbox, generator, converter, rotor, etc.), potentially of plants of various/multiple manufacturers
- Technical supervision and guidance of employees during troubleshooting/ fault clearance
- Execution of measurements and tests, inspections, maintenance Support of planning (partly independently)
- Supervision and support of maintenance assignments of third party companies also with regard to work content, quality and work safety
- Work supervisor/instructor during troubleshooting/removal and maintenance of less experienced colleagues/third party companies
- Documentation of all work with the help of electronic reporting systems
- Independent creation of necessary documentation - technical / material management
- Preparation of fault reports, work instructions and operating instructions as well as checking and editing of documentation relevant to operations (maintenance manuals and circuit diagrams)
- Adherence to and control of work safety specifications
- Proactively develop improvement opportunities, take responsibility for optimization projects, promote team thinking and cooperation
- In the assigned work/plant area, carry out instruction of third parties

**What we expect**:

- Successfully completed vocational training as an electrician, electronics technician for industrial engineering, mechatronics technician or similar
- Professional experience in troubleshooting and maintenance; Enercon turbine type would be an advantage
- More than 4 years of experience in working on wind turbines
- Ability to read and interpret technical and electrical drawings
- Valid onshore training according to GWO standard would be an advantage
- Strong awareness of work safety, strong communication and interpersonal skills, willingness to develop professionally
- High degree of flexibility, physical fitness and ability to perform onshore work and work at height
- Very good written and spoken German, proven good English skills an advantage
- Driving license class B
- Commitment and on-call duty
- Willingness to troubleshoot on weekends and holidays as part of regular on-call duty
