Product Owner for Data Analytics

**Job Description Summary**: In your role as Product Owner for Data Analytics you drive the specification, development and productization of an analytical platform to store, analyze and visualize data of ultrasound examinations to generate and provide essential business and medical information. In close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders you create and maintain the product backlog, you design and specify product changes and you further develop the product together with one or more scrum teams in an agile environment.

**Roles and Responsibilities**
- You and your peers in the highly experienced product design team such as UX experts, physicians and engineers own the entire product design of our product portfolio.
- Together with product managers, customers, internal and external stakeholders, and partners you elaborate requirements for product changes and new functionality
- Based on the requirements you design and specify functional and technical product changes with focus on realizing the mínimal viable solution and providing business value continuously.
- In close cooperation with the scrum team and technical experts you verify the feasibility of design and integration concepts, and you create and prioritize stories and define acceptance criteria for the development team
- You hand over the functional design to development and monitor the progress of implementation and confirm user acceptance via concept and prototype reviews on a regular base
- You own and groom the backlog of an international and geographically distributed scrum team, prepare issues towards definition of ready and ensure definition of done at the end of development sprints
- You create the documentation of official product specification and detailed design requirements

**Required Qualifications**
- Degree in computer science, information technology, biomedical engineering, or a comparable qualification
- Working experience as product owner or requirement engineer and attitude to elaborate requirements, create design concepts, epics, user stories and use cases
- Knowledge of requirement management tools and development planning tools (e.g. JIRA, Polarion)
- Working experience as software/database developer or data analyst
- Experience in databases (such as Sybase, MySQL, ArangoDB) and data import, export, querying, aggregation, optimization, and visualization
- Experience in professional agile software development and methodology (Scrum, SAFe)
- Clinical or medical domain experience such as medical workflows, analytics, examinations, or ultrasound is a strong plus
- Ability to work independent, pragmatically and solution oriented
- Team player, flexible and customer focused
- Excellent communication skills
- Fluent English, German is a strong plus
