**Introduction**

Carnival Maritime is the marine service unit for the Costa Group, a pioneer and leader in Europe’s cruise industry.

The unit bundles marine operation competencies and best practices providing the highest safety, health, environmental and compliance standards for cruising. Our focus is on enhancing and facilitating effective communication and efficient processes between ship and shore. With the great vision of operating a greenhouse gas neutral fleet as soon as technology allows and to have the first climate neutral ship included to the fleet by 2030, Carnival Maritime has established a new center of excellence with a specific mandate to support the company by defining and executing the decarbonization strategy and its associated multidimensional technological challenges.

With its service and innovation, Carnival Maritime enables the vessels of the two Costa Group brands, Costa Crociere and AIDA Cruises, to meet the current and future needs of the cruise industry.

**Your Responsibilities**
- Planning and execution of electro-technical projects on cruise ships in operation and in dry-docks
- Management of external suppliers and service contractors regarding time, budget, quality and results
- Coordination of technical purchaser activities, analysis of contractor’s offers, closing of contracts, contract management
- Supporting and providing active contribution to develop new electro-technical solutions on ships in the Costa Group, also towards and within Carnival Corporation
- Cooperate with the Fleet Management to support ship operations especially but not limited to the projects executed on board

**Your Profile**
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar
- Professional experience (3+ years’) in electric systems for cruise vessels, ship design or ship operation
- Specific skills in project management and very good ability in teamwork
- High level of self-motivation, ability to think strategically and to plan ahead
- Strong background in engineering and analytical skills with the ability to think strategically
- First leadership experiences would be desirable
- Very good English language skills
