**Role summary**:

- The job comprises the co-creation and implementation management of Siegwerk's strategic agenda, management of strategic projects, the initiation and execution of M&A activities, the continuous improvement of the market and competitive intelligence, and the active support of the executive/senior management as a thought and sparring partner across business units and regions.- The scope of the function is truly global. A key role lies in the definition, disaggregation, and prioritization of complex strategic topics that are raised proactively by the incumbent or senior management.- The incumbent will report to the Head of Corporate Development and will have one project manager reporting to him or her.**Requirements**:

- Background in top management consulting or a corporate function in the manufacturing industry with approximately 5 years of professional experience.
- Excellent education in economics or alternatively science/engineering with high affinity to business topics. An additional qualification (PhD or MBA) is appreciated.
- Profound project management skills
- Affinity to the chemical or manufacturing/processing industry
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong analytics and conceptual thinking
- Self-motivating
- Pragmatic and result oriented
