In this role, you will be in charge of ensuring that logistics operations are executed in a safe, timely and efficient manner. The position is located in Menden / Germany. You will lead by example, following all established procedures and guidelines to develop and manage process flows and to manage the receipt, storage, picking and shipping of products, systems and services to customers.

**This position reports to**:
Operations Manager

**Your responsibilities**:

- Ensuring a safe working environment based on HSE guidelines
- Planning, managing and optimizing day-to-day business processes using best practices (lean, 6Sigma, etc.) and incorporating the necessary resources
- Being responsible for process description/job description for team members
- Initiating and controlling the implementation of preventive measures in terms of Occupational Safety and Facility
- Coordinating with other departments at the site
- Reporting of weekly performance and initiation of reasonable measures if necessary
- Contact person for the global business with regard to process issues and projects
- Collaborating on projects as well as support in the implementation of various tasks concerning the area of responsibility

**Your background**:

- At least 3 years of experience in similar role in logistics
- Demonstrated experience working on a production line (Supervisory experience is an advantage.)
- Knowledge of lean management or 6sigma is a plus
- A collaborative, solution-focused approach, and strong written and spoken communication skills
- A training, technician or bachelor’s degree with focus on logistics or similar
- Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
